How the bingo card generator works

Every card in a set is different: the generator shuffles your list into a fresh grid for each card and checks that no two cards share the same layout. Word bingo needs at least 24 words for a 5 x 5 card with a free space (16 for 4 x 4, 8 or 9 for 3 x 3). Add more words than the minimum to make the game last longer and to make cards more varied.

Number cards follow the standard rules: B 1 to 15, I 16 to 30, N 31 to 45, G 46 to 60, O 61 to 75, with a free centre. The UK and Australian 90-ball ticket has 3 rows of 9 columns with 5 numbers per row, printed 10 to a page like a classic strip.

Caller's list

The last pages of the PDF list every item in a shuffled order with tick boxes, so the caller reads straight down the list. Want a different order? Press the shuffle button for a new set code.

Printing tips

Choose 1 per page for large-print cards (seniors, classrooms), 4 per page for parties, 6 for small hand-outs. Dashed cut lines are included.
Print at 100% scale (not "fit to page"). US Letter and A4 are both supported.
Card stock (160 to 200 gsm) survives daubers and coffee. Plain paper works fine with pens or counters.
The "Black & white" colour scheme saves ink for big classroom batches.
